Wow, two updates in one month, I'm on a roll.

Nothing too exciting, just more additions to my 2007 Reading List! Three for you today.

The first being, as I mentioned I'd begun in my last update, 'Guilty Pleasures' by Laurell K. Hamilton. It was much better than I expected. :) I'll be buying the next couple of books after I finish the series that begins with...

'The Eye Of The World' by Robert Jordan, the first book in 'The Wheel Of Time' series!

Of course, "finish" may be too strong a word for this occasion. As it turns out, the series itself is not finished, and the author died just over a week ago. Funny how that happens. And by "funny", I mean HORRIBLE AND SERIOUSLY INCONVENIENT. Not to sound completely callous. I'm sad he died just because he died, but ugh. Authors shouldn't be allowed to publish such good series unless they're totally completed to begin with. *stubborn, grumpy face* I really hope his wife gives permission for someone to complete the final book. It wouldn't quite be the same, obviously, but it'd be a conclusion.

Then again, I should say, I may end up deciding I hate the series as I read the next books (I'm in the middle of reading the second book right now, and I've got the third and fourth books ready for after that), so none of this will even matter. We'll see.

And the final literary entry for this update: 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' by George Orwell! Fascinating stuff. And I love that I get the reference now when people say, "What are you, the Thought Police?" Heh.

Oh, one final thing regarding the website. I've just set up a little archive thingy for the news blog here. It's manually run just like the blog itself, but better that than having five thousand blog entries on the index page because I couldn't be bothered putting in a bit of effort. Hopefully someone will appreciate it. :)

Ack! Another month since my last update! Boy, time sure does fly around here.

Well, I'm dropping in today to mention that I've added a couple more entries to my 2007 Reading List. :)

Specifically, the first six books in the 'Harry Potter' series by J. K. Rowling ('Harry Potter And The Philsopher's Stone', 'Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets', 'Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban', 'Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire', 'Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix', 'Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince'); sadly, 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' by J. K. Rowling; and lastly, 'Lightning' by Dean Koontz!

I'll be totally bummed when the 'Harry Potter' movies come to an end. It really will be the end of an era. *sigh* Nothing will ever be quite the same. *minute of silence*

I started reading 'Guilty Pleasures' (the first in the 'Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter' series) by Laurell K. Hamilton the other day. I should be finished quickly enough once I pick it up again, as it isn't a very long book.

I have to admit that I'm kind of hesitant about the series, as apparently Hamilton is somewhat infamous for her frequent, repetitive, boring sex scenes? Hmph. I have to give it a shot, anyway, 'cause dude! Vampires! ♥ I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

If you want to drop me a line, I'm always contactable (is that a word?). :D
