Woo! Hello again! More updates to my 2007 Reading List to make note of.
Firstly, 'The Mummy or Ramses The Damned' by Anne Rice. I'd generally consider myself an Anne Rice fan, but I can't say so much for this book. Oh, well.
Secondly, 'Seize The Night' by Dean Koontz, which is the book I mentioned in the last update that I'd started reading! I actually finished reading it the day after I made that post, but I didn't want to make another news post so soon after the last one, so I figured I'd hold out until I finished this newest book. :) Huge love for it. Recommended to everyone.
As for other news, I'm pretty seriously considering opening a book review website on a new domain. The Book Worm page just doesn't sate my lusty bookish apetite. The only thing holding me back is figuring out how to run it. Manually would count out the option of a comment feature, but I don't know of any book review management scripts, and while WordPress or similar might be an option, I don't know how to use the stupid thing, and it probably wouldn't be customisable enough for my tastes.
Argh, we'll see. Any advice would be welcomed!
My 2007 Reading List has just received its latest addition: 'The Phantom Of The Opera' by Gaston Leroux!
It's about time I got around to reading this one, actually. My grandma gave it to me to read a year or two ago. All the times I complain about having nothing to read, I really have a handful of classics I still haven't picked up yet. I'll get around to it.
I've also added a couple more books I found buried under rubble beside my bed that I had forgotten I'd read earlier this year. They are 'Just Annoying!' by Andy Griffiths and '3 Times The Fear' ('Blood Brothers' by Nicholas Adams, 'Love You To Death' by Bebe Faas Rice, and 'Deadly Stranger' by M. C. Summers).
Anyway!
Since I finished PotO, I'm about half-way through a Dean Koontz book my aunty's given me to read. Boy, is it good! More on that when I'm done.
Ciao! And remember, if you want to let me know anything, I've got a very handy contact form right here. :D
Oh! Hello there! Suprised to drop by and actually find something other than a hiatus sign, are we? Yeah, I don't blame you.
Yes, it's true that pr0n & chocolate has been on hiatus since November of 2005. What can I say? I'm horribly lazy and have a habit of procrastinating. Not two of my best traits, and unfortunately two that work together really well, and only ever to my detriment.
Anyway, I'm back, and for the first time since I bought this domain, there's some content you can really sink your teeth into!
I know, I was shocked, too!
I've put some real effort into adding some meat to the bones of this domain, and I think I've done well. I'd say something like, "If you think you so, too, just drop me a comment!" But as it is, I don't have a comment form because I don't have a blog script. They're all too bloody tricky, if you ask me, and not nearly flexible enough. A layout shouldn't have to fit around a blogging tool, it should be the other way around.
At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Hmph.
